Zimbabwe President hints August as election month

The biggest question on everyone’s mind within Zimbabwe and external is when are the 2023 elections going to be held. Zimbabwe President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa (ED), has been giving hints to the public on when the elections day be held.

The President has made assurance to the members of the public that elections will be held this year.

Addressing thousands of ZANU Of supporters who had came to witness the commissioning of the Rwenga Bridge, President ED who is also the presidential candidate for ZANU PF, announced to the attending crowd, that the country is left with at least two months to elections.

“Lets keep our heritage by voting for ZANU PF. Elections will be held in August, I am releasing a little bit of information,” said President Mnangagwa (Pindula News).

Last month another announcement was made by the President, that the election date will be revealed by the end of May.

To comply with the Constitutional regulations the elections must come not more than 30 days after expiring period of the current parliament, that is between 26 July and 26 August.
