Yo Maps Yo gets Nutty O’s stage boost at Fill Up Heroes Stadium
Zambia’s international artist Elton Mulenga who is popularly known by his stage name Yo Maps Yo last year made an extraordinary announcement that he will be releasing his second studio album in a unique way.
His new album, ‘Try Again’ will be released at Zambia’s biggest stadium, at the Fill Up Heroes Stadium show scheduled for tonight (May 27th) in Lusaka.
Zimbabwe’s Award-winning artist, Nutty O is expected to also headline the event with his performance, among other artists and DJs.
The event will be in conjunction with Zambia’s most listened radio station, Kwithu FM. Joining the support of the event is Zambia’s Ministry of Sports and Arts as well as Zambia’s National Arts Association Council.
Part of the proceeds from the album launch will go towards a music school that Yo Maps plans on building in Lusaka to help artists as they build their musical careers.
The album, ‘Try Again’ aims to encourage young people, that no matter the situation you find yourself in, never give up but keep trying.
