According to Tendayi Maradze Shonhiwa aka Tendi weNjanja, art is not a means to an end but it is a true perception of the times we live in and an opportunity for dialogue to begin.

Tendayi studied fine arts at Harare polytechnic, initially he was studying civil engineering but was not happy. Tendai, a fashion designer and also a fine artist has a single track called, “kurwadziwa,” which just came out.

His music genre falls under world music.
