“We are excited that our client’s rights have been vindicated we always knew that there is one CCC Zimbabwe…” said Advocate Nqobani Sithole, Sengezo Tshabangu instructing attorney.

Is it the end of the road for Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) faction under Nelson Chamisa against Sengezo’s CCC ‘lead’ movement.

The two factions wrestled at the High court as the 23 ousted Citizens Coalition for Change Members of Parliament were hoping to bounce back at the parliament, after they were recalled by the Citizens Coalition for Change, self-imposed Secretary General. This week some of Advocate Chamisa’s supporters we’re celebrating and curious to know if it’s true that Zimbabwe’s main opposition leader has dumped his own party and founded and formed a new one called DAZ.

The rumour spread as veldfires on social media, after the party’s deputy spokesperson and former Member of Parliament, Hon Ostallos Siziba praised his leader stating,

“The leader of the Democratic Alternative in Zimbabwe is Advo Nelson Chamisa.” Wrote Siziba on X.

However their celebration didn’t last long as the Citizens Coalition for Change party said is wasn’t an official statement.
