Born Malcolm Kaitano, singer and songwriter Malcolm King263 is a fast rising Zimbabwean singer who is gaining traction, building his audience and finding is space in the entertainment industry. The singer is primarily an Afro-fusion singer who also incorporates other African sounds to his music to give it a distinct sounds; “It’s a mix of language and indigenous musical instruments” the singer said.

The singer started his musical journey back in 2014 while he was still in high school. His catalogue of work thus far shows growth and development from the crooner. His early offerings include “Kutandara” which is an Afro-pop love song in which the protagonist speaks of his adoration of a woman. In the single “Be Humble” he showcases his Hip Hop prowess and is accompanied with a slick music video. His latest release is a single titled “Kunorira Pfene” which is a song in which the protagonist takes his beloved to his ancestral home.

His body of work also includes collaborations with Miss Daisy, Bagga (yet to be released track titled “Kure Nemi” and well as working with Saint Floew.

“I’m influenced by my imaginations and also sounds from other musicians such as Takura, Nutty O, AKA, Tory Lanez and WizKid” he mentioned on where he draws his inspiration from.

Apart from his musical venture, he works as a comis chef at a fast food outlet. He also mentioned that when he relax he writes song. His passion and dedication to his craft is evident by his work thus far and shows up in his delivery.
