Maputo, Mozambique – As Africa accelerates its push toward industrialisation and regional integration, Mozambique is positioning itself as a critical gateway for global trade. Against this backdrop, the inaugural Africa Ports, Logistics & Infrastructure Summit will take place on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, in Maputo, Mozambique. This landmark event, officially endorsed by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics of Mozambique, will run alongside the 10th anniversary of the Mozambique Gas & Energy Summit & Exhibition.
Organised by dmg events in collaboration with the Mozambican government, the Summit will bring together over 300 high-level stakeholders from 25 countries, including ministers, port authorities, logistics leaders, infrastructure developers, and global investors.
In his endorsement, Hon. João Jorge Matlombe, Mozambique’s Minister of Transport and Logistics, emphasised the country’s growing potential: “As Africa enters a new era of industrialization, Mozambique’s potential places it at the forefront of global investment.”
Set to become a catalyst for continental growth, the Summit will spotlight critical themes in trade facilitation, green and resilient infrastructure, multimodal transport integration, digital freight solutions, and public-private partnerships.
Mozambique’s infrastructure ambitions are supported by transformative projects such as the $6.5 billion Ponta Techobanine Port, the $785 million Maputo-Katembe Bridge, and key regional corridors connecting Dar es Salaam, Nacala, Durban, and Walvis Bay—underscoring the country’s role as a Southern African logistics powerhouse.

Strategic networking sessions will also provide vital connections between investors, developers, and policymakers—all working toward a more connected and prosperous Africa.
