This strategic initiative is designed to leverage the diverse expertise and international exposure of the incumbents across multiple sectors, as the organization prepares for the 2025 edition of Zimbabwe Fashion Week.

Founded in 2009 by the visionary and indefatigable Priscilla Chigariro, Zimbabwe Fashion Week has established itself as a vital platform for designers, models, and creatives from Zimbabwe to gain visibility on the local, regional, and pan-African fashion scene.

The new Advisory Board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, and they include:

Nico Abote: A seasoned and erudite Media Professional and Creative Strategist with over 20 years of experience in the television and film industry, possessing a profound understanding of the nuances of visual storytelling and the intricacies of the media landscape.
Olga Muhwati: An accomplished and results-driven Entrepreneurial Development Professional with over 10 years of experience in international grants management, fundraising, and marketing, boasting a proven track record of cultivating sustainable partnerships, securing funding for developmental projects, and driving economic growth.
Plot Mhako: A visionary and innovative Creative Director and Social Entrepreneur who has made a significant impact on Zimbabwe’s creative scene and beyond, leveraging his expertise to foster innovation, drive positive change, and promote cultural heritage.
Valerie Kabov: A distinguished and accomplished Educator, Art Critic, Historian, and Entrepreneur focused on contemporary art, possessing a deep understanding of the intricacies of the art world, its intersection with fashion, and the cultural nuances that underpin both disciplines.
Ivan Munodawafa: A prominent and influential Business Leader with a strong track record in co-creating, supporting, and developing creative entrepreneurial ventures, boasting a keen eye for identifying opportunities, driving growth, and fostering innovation in the fashion industry.
