Nigerian Chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey (Hilda Baci) (27) from Akwaibom State has been cooking non-stop for the past 3 days with the intention to break a 4-day Guinness World Record of 87 hours, 45 minutes set by Indian Lata Tondon in 2019.

This is passion at its finest apparel, considering the fact that the certification of Guinness World record doesn’t have any monetary attachment.

She has spent an estimated 10 million naira or more on set ups, research, authorizations, food stuffs and other exigencies.

However, unconfirmed reports say several local/International endorsements, worth millions are already in the coffers of her managers, 5 State governments and the Federal Government of Nigeria have also made provisions for her honours.  (Source: News 24)

The restaurateur kick-started the competition on Thursday at exactly 4pm after she turned on her cooker. She is now on a mission to set a record of 96 hours.
