Wales based cricket club, Glamorgan is set to travel to Zimbabwe next month in March.
The news was announced by the director of the club, Mark Wallace.
Wallance stated that the travel is a get away for their pre-season.
“Zimbabwe offers a great chance for us to know our outdoor skills before the beginning of the season, and the group I’d really looking forward to going away.”
“The squad hasn’t been abroad for pre-season which will see us going to Zimbabwe now so we cannot wait for experience,” he said .
After the tournament with Zimbabwe on March 27-29, the Glamorgan Cricket team will be back in London for a pre season as they will face Somerst at the Cooper Associates Country Ground.
Wallace also added, that some of the players who have been playing domestic cricket in Zimbabwe, have provided a positive picture about the country’s climate and the cricket team.
“We have heard great things from Kiran Carlson and Eddie Byron, who have played domestic cricket out there all winter and we can’t wait to join up with them and play some competitivr cricket before our opening championship fixture against Gloucestershine,”said Wallace.
