Ezimnyama to present Zim culture in Europe
Multi-award-winning dance- ensemble Ezimnyama are in France.
The traditional performing group which is directed by Phibion Ncube is chiefly based in the second capital city of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo.
Paris welcomed the award-winning ensemble on Saturday.
Before their departure to Europe, the ensemble said their farewell in style as they entertained their fans at the Alliance Françoise De Bulawayo last week Wednesday.
The French house gave warmth to those who had graced the event, as they had braved cold weather.
Unlike in Europe where the temperature has recorded high climax degrees.
Speaking to a local publication, the director of the ensemble Phibion Ncube confirmed the group is on a Europe tour.
“We are going to present the richness of the Zimbabwean culture which is music and various types of dances from across the country.
“That’s what we will present when we go overseas in a five-week tour,” he said.
Ezimnyama Dance Ensemble is expected to perform also in Spanish and Switzerland.
Zimbabwean artists such as Mookomba and Iyasa have been headlining European events.
