This project fosters greater gender equality and enhances the benefits for women in the sustainable energy sector and the broader green transition. By empowering women, the initiative strengthens their societal roles and economic agency, contributing to more just, inclusive, and diverse societies. Despite positive indicators for gender equality in areas like life expectancy and education, challenges remain in ensuring equal control over economic resources. Women are underrepresented in both traditional and emerging energy sectors.
This project addresses these gaps by promoting inclusive and participatory pathways for the energy transition, allowing all members of society to contribute their experiences, talent, and innovative potential. This initiative is not just about energy; it’s about empowering women to lead, innovate, and transform their communities by investing in women’s potential.
