DR JERRY MOFOKENG TO BE HONOURED IN MASERU NEXT MONTH
DR Jerry Mofokeng is a world-renowned South African actor billed to grace the red carpet at the King Moshoeshoe Festival and receive the Lifetime achievement Award in Film and Television set for the 11th of March, 2023 in Maseru.
The awards are set to be launched at Victory Hall in Maseru.
Dr Jerry Mofokeng and a few other African Film and TV industry icons will also be coaching young Basotho film practitioners and actors. Dr Jerry is prominently known for playing the role Neo Moekhethi at Etv prime soap ,’Scandal’.
Another filmamker, Joe JK Haikali who is an award-winning Namibian filmmaker and a creative entrepreneur who is also the mananging director of Joe Vision Production (JVP), is among this year’s King Moshoeshoe Film Festival judges.
Joel’s latest film titled ‘Invisibles Kaunapawa’ which was shortlisted for the Oscars 2021.
