The Batswana nation has joined other African nations, including Zimbabwe, Cameroon, and Nigeria, in becoming franchise holders of a national male pageant with the launch of Misters of Botswana.
The development places Botswana within a growing network of African countries using male pageantry to cultivate ambassadors who combine presence, discipline, and global competitiveness.
Former Mister Zimbabwe, Shadel Noble, was announced by the Misters of Botswana organisers as the pageant’s fourth member of the Council of International Architects.
Noble not only holds the title of Mister Zimbabwe but was also crowned Mr Globe 1st Runner-up and Mister Globe Africa in 2021. According to the organisers, due to Noble’s reputation, he will assume the stewardship of House Four. He will also be responsible for developing the physical rigor and psychological discipline necessary for his six candidates to command the stage with world-class presence.
Apart from Noble, others named to the Council of International Architects include Josue Culibaly, Mister International Ivory Coast; Ivorian runway model Phil Royce; Batswana fashionista Mothusi Lesolle; and Mister Supranational Namibia, Mmoloki Samoka.
The wait is officially over, and the temperature has hit the boiling point. Out of more than 120 hopefuls, Misters of Botswana has narrowed it down to the Top 30, and organisers are clear that this is not just a lineup but a revolution.
This inaugural selection is being hailed as the “DNA of African Male Pageantry.” Handpicked for their grit, intellect, and sheer “it” factor, industry insiders are calling this the hottest lineup in Southern Africa to date.
From the moment the reveal was made public, social media platforms have been in a frenzy. If this is just the start, the finale is going to be legendary because this is the most elite group of men to ever grace a stage in Botswana.
