AWARD WINNING MUSICIANS & DESIGNERS TO HEADLINE CAPE TOWN FASHION WEEK (AFI)
Cape town fashionistas are to meet designers and musicians under the same roof.
This comes as one of the most prominent fashion shows in the world Cape Town Fashion Week (AFI) is making a comeback with a mixture of fashion meets clients, buyers, techs and artists.
The event is scheduled to open its doors for the members of the public fro the 21st of March till the 25th of March.
The fashion ceremony will be held at CT (Cape Town International Convention Centre).
The venue is renowned for its sustainability efforts and ultramodern facilities. Cape Town Fashion Week is being held at a time when AFI is celebrating 15 years of African innovation with luxurious experience in South Africa showing the importance of fashion within the environment.
The fashion event is expected not only to be headlined by multi-award winning designers but artists who are going to be performing during the event, the artists include; Dj Zinhle who will be on the mix on the 23rd, while Young Stunna will be headlined on the 24th of March.
Scorpion Kings ( Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa) will close down the curtains of the event on the 25th of March.
Some of the prominent fashion houses whose products will be seen at the ramp are; Masa Mara, Urban Zulu, House of Nala by AFI, K Moraba, Collective, Imprint, Taibo Bacar, Scalo Palse, and Hugo Flear among others.
Masa Mara who is a Rwandian designer based in South Africa is expected to open the show and Mozambique fashion house Taibo Bacar will shut down the show through their collections.
