Call for Filmmakers to new Film and Television Awards
Kudzai Mhangwa is a writer, actor and musician. He writes poetry, plays, essays and short stories. His work has been featured on House of Mutapa, Atrebla Magazine, Ka'edi Africa, Poetry Soup and elsewhere.
The Zimbabwe Annual Film and Television Awards (ZAFTA) has made a call to filmmakers to submit their work for their first award show slated for the 2nd of December.
The awards are under the Cinema Society of Zimbabwe and have announced the deadline for submission to be the 10th of September. Submissions are currently being accepted on their official Film Freeway page (Zimbabwe Annual Film and Television Awards – FilmFreeway). Categories include those for television series, feature films, documentaries, reality series, children’s programming, animation, production value and many more.
