Chris Ncube’s dream started in 2014, after watching his sister cat walking at the Carnival Queen Pageant and he had no doubt that he was destined for an international stage, representing his country, Zimbabwe.
On the 7th of June, Chris Ncube will be joining other Kings from across the world in Philippines to contest for the title, ‘Man of the World’.
19-year-old Chris Ncube is a law University Student at the University of Chichester. He is set to become the first Zimbabwean model to contest for the title, Mister Man of The World.
In an exclusive interview with Chris Ncube before he departed to Philippines, he told My Afrika Magazine that he is confident he is going to make the country proud at the pageant.
Ncube also praised and thanked the nation, his family, and friends for supporting his journey from the very beginning when he applied to represent Zimbabwe at pageant.
“I have received massive love and support from Zimbabweans, financially, emotionally and physically. People from all sectors across the country are sending messages of support, some in forms of gifts and sponsorships too,” said Ncube.
He however said, preparing for the event hasn’t been easy as he has faced several challenges in his way.
Ncube born in Beitbridge said the country’s modeling industry is improving day by day this is because of the country’s talent is being evident by the successful representation done in international platforms.
The Man Of The World King coronation is expected to be conducted on the 18th.
