Intwasa Arts Festival Reveal Readiness For This Season
One of Southern Africa’s biggest Arts Festival, which is hosted annual every year during the purple spring season in Zimbabwe’s second capital city of Bulawayo, has officially released dates for this year’s 19th edition, running from the 26th until 30th of September 2023.
Intwasa Festival is not a profitable arts organization however it has been profitable to artist as they are given an opportunity to market their work and network with the public and other members of their industry.
Fans of the festival in the past years have had opportunities to witness as speculators performances that are made by different artists.
Some of the well-known artists who have graced Intwasa Arts Festival include: Winky D, Afrika Revenge, Feli Nandi, Tariro Negitari, Umkhathi Theater, Iyasa, Msiz’Kay, Nobuntu, Asaph etc.
Intwasa Arts Festival ko Bulawayo was founded in 2004. With arts acts such as: music concerts, theater and film, spoken word and comedy, dance, fashion and craft have headlined the festival.
