Zimbabwe has officially joined the Miss Afrikana International family with the appointment of three celebrated beauty queens and entrepreneurs—Brooke Bruk-Jackson, Lyshanda Moyas and Sakhile Dube—as National Directors of Miss Afrikana Zimbabwe.

The appointment marks a new chapter for Zimbabwean pageantry, creating a platform that celebrates African identity, culture, leadership and women’s empowerment while opening international opportunities for local contestants.

All three directors are former Miss Universe Zimbabwe titleholders with extensive experience on the global pageant stage. Beyond pageantry, they have built successful careers in business, fashion and the creative industries, while championing initiatives focused on youth empowerment, education, innovation and community development.

As National Directors, they will oversee the growth of Miss Afrikana Zimbabwe, mentoring contestants to become confident ambassadors of culture, leadership and social impact. Their vision is to provide Zimbabwean women with a platform to celebrate their heritage while representing the country on the international stage.

The appointments also reflect Zimbabwe’s growing influence in African pageantry, recognising that modern beauty queens are not only titleholders but leaders, entrepreneurs and advocates for positive change.

With Brooke Bruk-Jackson, Lyshanda Moyas and Sakhile Dube at the helm, Miss Afrikana Zimbabwe is set to usher in a new era of purpose-driven pageantry, showcasing Zimbabwean excellence while inspiring the next generation of African women.
