Zim-Dancehall Artiste ‘Poptain’ Shines In U.K

Zimbabwe’s high-riding dancehall singer Poptain born Ameen Abduljaleel Matanga (27) is currently in United Kingdom waiting to participate at this years’ Zimfest Live.

The annual African themed family-friendly music festival will return to Colesdale Farm, United Kingdom this Saturday, July 31.

Some of the artists that will feature Zimfest Live include Jah Prayzah, Gemma Griffiths, Trevor Dongo as well as Tamy Moyo.

As a way of amplifying his ratings on social media platforms whilst in UK, Poptain has been streaming live performances on YouTube at Arora Hotel Gatwick Crawley in London.

Poptain has also been travelling performing shows especially in and out of South Africa, which is however increasing his fame.

The artiste is at present trending internationally with the hit song ‘More’ that he collaborated with his girlfriend who is also the rising Zim-Dancehall star Anita Jaxson.

Poptain’s songs have been reaching the Trace Africa top ten videos of late such as ‘More’ and ‘Before.’

Recently, the artiste also collaborated with Buffalo Souljah and Jupitar on the song ‘Tek Off’ which was produced by Natural Band Entertainment.

Some of the songs chanted by Poptain include Fadza Mutengi, Kokai, Tetena Amount, Sunda, Bhurugwa,Freedom among others.

Apart from working with Buffalo Souljah and Jupitar, Poptain has also done collaborations with Toky Vibes, Nutty O, and Uncle Epatan amongst other artistes.
