The name Munashe Siyanate is making waves not only in Zimbabwe but on international runways. The rising male model recently added a new crown to his name after being coronated as Mister Heritage Global, following his impressive placement as 2nd runner-up at the Mister Heritage competition.
South Africa also dominated the pageant, scooping several titles including Best Costume, Best National Costume, Top Model, Mister Heritage Africa, and the Mister Teen Heritage crown.
Speaking to My Afrika Magazine in an exclusive interview, King Munashe credited the modeling community for his success, emphasizing how unity and support carried him through the competition.
“From the modeling community, I received a lot of support in terms of voting, guidance, and overall encouragement on how to present myself on the international stage,” said Munashe. “The most important thing was the motivation I received to go out there and give it my all. I’m truly grateful to everyone who supported me—especially Royce, who designed my national costume, and Tatenda Njanike, who has been with me since day one. They both offered unwavering support.”
He noted that fellow local models rallied behind him while he was competing in the Philippines, giving him the emotional boost to remain focused and determined.
Munashe now joins a distinguished group of Zimbabwean kings who have represented the nation on global platforms, including Future Nyoni, Ishmael Muragandi, Chrispen Ncube, Tapiwa Zimhamba, and Devson Luzane.
His journey is a testament to the power of community, resilience, and national pride—showing that with the right support system, dreams on the global stage can become reality.
