Star FM Listener’s Choice Awards Winners Crowned
One if the interesting things that the COVID-19 pandemic taught is that if plan A fails, there is always plan B or more to lean on.
This year, one of the nation’s biggest music awards the Star FM Music Listener’s Choice Awards were held online and during a radio broadcast, Facebook Live and ZNT Prime. After being marred with controversy from Winky D’s exclusion from the list of nominees and Baba Harare rejecting his nomination, the show (proverbially) went on. The awards were hosted by TV and radio personality Erica Ndoro and started over an hour later than expected.
The biggest winners of the night were dancehall phenom Freeman and newcomer Leo Magozz who both bagged three gongs while Feli Nandi won two awards.
