Born in 1994 in Zvimba, Percy later moved to Gweru, where he grew up. He eventually made his way to the capital city, Harare, to pursue a career in music. In addition to being a singer, he works as a music teacher and is a skilled multi-instrumentalist. In 2023, he released the EP Zvakaitika – The Testimony, which includes the standout single Zvakaitika a song that speaks of salvation and deliverance.

His 2025 EP Love Calabash marked a significant leap in his music career. It features the single Tsamba (Wandasarudza), off Love Calabash EP, which gained traction across social media platforms. The track was accompanied by a captivating music video that attracted viewers from around the world. Thematically, the song explores unrequited love, as a man prepares to pay the traditional bride price (roora in ChiShona) for his beloved. The EP also features the standout love song Munhu Wangu.
