Spotlight: JoyRukanza releases debut album
Hailing from Bulawayo, musician JoyRukanza has recently released an album titled “MatterMoreForSis”.
The vibrant star was born Joy Roselyn Rukanzakanza in Bulawayo where she did her education up until high school. She then moved to the United States for her undergraduate studies at Bryn Mawr College. After graduating with a bachelors in international studies and a minor in Africana Studies, she has worked on Wall Street and currently works for tech giant Microsoft.
Rukanza has nurtured her passion for music from an early age from singing in choirs in her community, church, high school and university. She finally decided to pursue her musical talents by recording an album which was launched on the 23rd of June.
Prior to the launch of the album, the talented star has released singles including “New Day” (a collaboration with South African Hip-Hop Crooner KiD X), “Roses” and “Queendom”. Her social media following continues to grow while her stars shines brighter and brighter.
