LUSAKA JULY: Bringing Together Africa’s Influential Personalities in Fashion and Lifestyle
PR Girl Media has announced that the 8th annual Lusaka July will be held under the theme “A Purple Empire of Royals” on Sunday 3 September 2023 at the Lusaka Polo Club in Lusaka’s showgrounds. The event which has been popularly dubbed as “Zambia’s Met Gala” is a day of fashion and polo where attendants indulge in an afternoon of business networking, fashion showcases and entertainment.
It is undoubtedly Zambia’s leading fashion event stopping the nation every year with millions of viewers glued to their television screens and phones in discussions of who is best-dressed and who isn’t!
Founders of the Lusaka July, Managing Partners of PR Girl Media, the sister-duo Monde Nyambe and Chishimba Nyambe have confirmed that Zambian Breweries, Big Tree Beverages under the Trade Kings Group, Manda Hill and ZAMTEL have signed on as partners for the 8th edition of Zambia’s leading fashion event. The Nyambe sisters jointly stated that;
“the Lusaka July was purely created for fashion and polo enthusiasts who value premium experiences. Our event attendants are encouraged to interpret the fashion theme through their outfits to the best of their creativity as this is the core entertainment of the event. We are grateful for the support that we have received so far from the corporate, media and fashion community in growing this event to a regional audience.”
The Managing Partners of PR Girl Media have further clarified that their agency is a creative company that curates premium experiences and African luxury in aims to change the negative perceptions of the continent. The Lusaka July 2023 will be graced by fashion designers, celebrities and influential personalities from over 15 African countries with a combined following of over 50 million online users across the continent. Among the public figures in attendance will be Namibian Luis Munana, Tanzanian Gigi Money, Ugandan Sheilah Gashumba and South Africa’s Laduma of Maxhosa Fashion House.
