Thandile Simakade best known professionally as Tr3azy_a1, is a talented musician from Soshanguve, Pretoria. The singer & songwriter first introduced himself to the music industry in 2016 by releasing single tracks and performing them at clubs and events.
Growing up in Soshanguve had cut his poetry journey short but it has inspired and shaped him to become a versatile artist as he was influenced by different styles and genres of music. Growing up in a place where following one’s passion is considered “Taboo” was tough because only a few would make it to mainstream but that never discouraged Tr3azy_a1, it just made him move a little more different from his peers.
He started his school days in Eastern Cape (QueensTown) in kuKhavara village and then moved to Gauteng where he carried on and completed his studies.
“I realized my passion for music during performances in high school (Ruabohlale Secondary School) and saw how my music had an impact on my peers and considered to take it to a professional level by beginning to build a solid career through my passion for music.” Said Thandile
He released his first project in 2016, he managed to build a solid brand around Pretoria and Mafikeng. In 2018, he released his second project (“For You”-EP) as he moved to Northwest to do media Studies at Northwest University. During his time there, he got to open stages for established artists (Casper Nyovest, Okmalukekoolkat, A-Reece and many more).
“My passion for music was inspired by popular artists such as Chris Brown, Drake, Lil Wayne, Emtee, Nasty C and Sjava, and hope to be in contact with some of them in the future.”
Tr3azy_a1 considers himself as an Ultimate artist who is genre fluid as he does a variety of genres. Tr3azy has an extraordinary ability to create music such as AFRO BEATS | AMAPIANO | AFRICAN TRAP | HIP HOP AND RNB.

Although it is a tough industry to break into, Tr3azy_a1 believes in himself, his craft and in having a good team that understands him which makes it easier for him to carry on with an undying passion for the art.
