Many had hoped for the come back of fashion show,some were not even sure if Fashion Without Borders was going to be held this year in South Africa due to Covid 19 pandemic.

At the beginning of last year’s month, the Co-founder and creative director at EFIGY productions, Serge Kabisoso, announced the comeback of the Fashion Without Border show to Mzansi this year. The show which will be held this month from the 24th to the 26th will be held under the theme Fashion Pallet.

“The fashion,textile and clothing Industry have enormous potential to transform lives, particularly for women and youths,” said Kabisoso.

He added that they had to take advantage when it comes to technology as they will be able to expand and connect with the outside world of their country. Kabisoso stated out that majority of young and old people used internet for business purposes during the Covid19 restrictions.

“It was during this pandemic that we saw technology and social media being used on a massive scale to keep people safe,productive and connected while physically apart.

“Young and Upcoming fashion designers must then continue taking advantage of this digital transformation, to initiate a series of initiatives to improve their speed to market and to implement sustainable innovation in their core product design, manufacturing and supply chain processes,” said Kabisoso.

This year fashion designers who are to exhibit their products at the platform come from several Countries including, ESwatini, Botswana, South Africa and Mozambique and DRC, and these include among others;
