Fashion Fete: A celebration of fashion, sustainability, and unity

Fashion Fete has served as a collective movement, since its inception in 2019, incorporating two distinct sub-movements – the Dandy Gentlemen movement for men and the Vogue Ladies movement for women that were all co-founded by Minister of Whitelinen whose bio name is Anesu Mhembere.

These sub-movements share a common aim; to unite and empower individuals through fashion, to nurture the “Total Man through Fashion” and the “Total Woman through Fashion.” Through this unified platform, Fashion Fete seeks to harness the transformative power of fashion to address the challenges impacting the contemporary generation, emphasizing the overarching mission of “Building the Total Person Through Fashion.”

Talking to My Afrika Magazine, Minister Of White linen Anesu, informed that this year’s event is going on the Fashion Fete and will be held in the inspiration of the United Nations’ SDGs goals.

“The forthcoming Fashion Fete event will pivot towards the global goals set by the United Nations in the form of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030. Here, the focus will not only dwell on advocating sustainable fashion but also spotlighting the critical targets of the SDGs,” said Anesu.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 10th of February and will feature a remarkable array of activities, including captivating fashion runways, live music, spoken word performances, opportunities for networking, engaging exhibitions, and enriching personal development programs.
