Bantu The Tribe’s Performance at MTN Bushfire
A Celebration of African Culture and Music.
This year at the MTN Bushfire festival, a unique and exciting performance will be taking place. A new hip band called Bantu The Tribe, a diverse and vibrant African band, will grace the stage.
The band comprises of two members Nkosiphile “Nkosi Nda” Sibanda, on vocals, guitar, keys, percussion and pan whistle and Bheki “Bhekizo” Nhleko on vocals, guitar, flute, percussion, guitar.
The bands has performed at a number of functions, including The Kitchen in SD and GreenLifestyle Festival where the Bushfire festival director spotted them. This performance will mark the first time Bantu the tribe has been featured at the festival, and it is sure to be an amazing experience for all involved.
Bantu The Tribe will be bring an electric as well as eclectic mix of styles and genres. They will be presenting a unqiue and diverse sound blended through culture, traditional folklore, music, dance and storytelling. The performance will be a mix of traditional and modern styles, allowing the audience to experience a unique blend of cultures.
Their stage performance will feature the vibrant colors and movements of African culture, while the music will be a combination of traditional instruments and modern beats. Their music storytelling will give the audience a glimpse into the history and beliefs of the diverse sounds, drums and cultures of African people, allowing them to gain a greater understanding of the various African tribes and cultures in the region.
By having the Bantu the tribe perform at the festival, MTN Bushfire is giving a unique platform to both established and upcoming artists in and around the region to showcase their talent which is a brilliant initiative. Often upcoming acts are overlooked and underrepresented. This event will be an opportunity for the audience to experience new and upcoming act in a live setting and in a eclectic way that they might not otherwise have the chance to. It will also allow these 2 guys to showcase their talent to the world.
