Following the first-ever Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa held in April 2022, the world’s most elite young entrepreneurs and game-changers are meeting in Botswana for the four days summit that began on the 24th ending on the 27th of April.

If you are Under 30  and you are an African entrepreneur, Botswana is a place to be as the world’s greatest growth market is hosting the Forbes Under 30 Summit.

Delegates are receiving messages being delivered by the Botswana government and other well-known African and International business people who are highlighting venturing capital and business role models, providing inspiration for the newest and next generation of leaders. 

H.E. President Masisi was among the speakers at the summit, he delivered his speech and said, “Africa represents the freshness of the world. Africa represents the greatest potential there is for growth.”

In attendance were also Deputy Heads of States leaders the Vice President of Nambia, Mr Nangolo Mbumba, and the Deputy President of Kenya Mr Rigathi Gachagua.

The Vice President of Namibia Mr Mbumba applauded President Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi for hosting the summit for African youth, adding that most African countries are in attendance. He appreciated the lessons and knowledge they acquired from the summit.

Mr Mbumba said Namibia is committed to strengthening its friendship with Botswana. The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1990 after Namibia gained its independence.

The Deputy President of Kenya Mr Gachagua commended Botswana for successfully hosting the Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa, adding that it is important to invest in the youth as they have great ideas and potential to grow the economy.

Mr Gachagua further said that as leaders, they have the responsibility to mentor the youth to grow the countries and the economy. He said the two countries will explore further opportunities that can be exploited for their mutual benefit.

Zimbabwean brand Rukanda Pride which was founded by Paula Mazvita Marowa is part of the young Zimbabwe entrepreneurs who represented the country during the summit.

The Batswana government, Government removed,  the registration charge at Forbes Under 30 Summit welcoming Ceremony which was headlined by Afro Beats Artist Davido.

The registration fee was initially $75 which is equivalent to P978.52. Residents of Botswana and everyone else from all parts of the world are now permitted to witness Davido, Nomcebo Zikode, ATI, etc. 

The  People’s Concert was hosted on the 23rd of April at Gaborone in attendance was Botswana’s Head of State President Masisi , and Botswana’s first lady who showed off their dance moves on stage.
