Harare will host eight nations from September 26 to October 4 for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier 2025, with two coveted spots at the 2026 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka up for grabs.

Group A features Namibia, Malawi, Nigeria and Kenya, while hosts Zimbabwe face Uganda, Tanzania and Botswana in Group B. Matches will be played at Harare Sports Club and Takashinga Cricket Club, with the semi-finals and final set for Harare Sports Club.

Zimbabwe Cricket Chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani said the country was “fully prepared” to welcome Africa’s best, urging fans to come out in numbers to support.

Warm-up matches saw Zimbabwe secure back-to-back wins over Nigeria, Uganda thrash Malawi by seven wickets, Tanzania beat Kenya by six wickets, and Namibia crush Botswana by 10 wickets.

The tournament begins on Friday, with Zimbabwe opening their campaign against Uganda.
