With hundreds of attendees each year, colour events have emerged as a major attraction on the local leisure scene.

On August 24, the Harare Colour Sprint will take centre stage at the Borrowdale Racecourse.

Colour Sprint is a fun running event that promotes a healthy lifestyle at the same time raising funds for a good cause. In addition, participants in the 5km run are doused with various colored powders, making for an eye-catching sight.

This year’s main artist is Jah Prayzah amongst others including Yahya Goodvibes, Dj RSK, MadeHerBelieve, Tay Chisango, Dj Spunj, Dj Springer and other artists.

According to the event’s organizers on their social media pages, everything is ready and they said there will be plenty of entertainment. Excitement had been building for weeks, with social media abuzz with participants sharing their training routines.

There are several sponsors, including Liquid Home Zimbabwe which will be providing free Wi-Fi and other goodies.
