It’s rare for a model to hold two national titles simultaneously, granting them the opportunity to represent their country in multiple global pageants. However, Queen Yollanda Chimbarami is on the verge of making history as a double titleholder in the same year.

The reigning Miss Supranational Zimbabwe 2024, Chimbarami, is vying for the prestigious Miss World Zimbabwe title tonight alongside 11 other contestants. She is widely regarded as one of the top favorites to claim the crown.

Chimbarami is not just a beauty queen but also a model, actress, philanthropist, and fashion designer. Her portfolio is further enhanced by numerous accolades, including awards from the World Championships of Performing Arts, Best Swimsuit Model of the Year, Zim Teen Model of the Year, and Teen Commercial Model of the Year.

In addition to her personal achievements, Chimbarami co-founded the charitable organization Help a Child Save the Nation. This foundation operates across both rural and urban areas in Zimbabwe, aiming to restore children to their rightful place in society. The organization focuses on sustainable economic, spiritual, emotional, and social development to permanently break cycles of poverty and drug abuse.

Her commitment to social causes extends beyond modeling. Chimbarami has served as a United Nations panelist and has left a mark in the acting industry, including lending her voice to Rookie Season in the animated cartoon Super Strikers.

If Chimbarami wins the Miss World Zimbabwe title, she will have the rare privilege of representing Zimbabwe on two global stages this year: the Miss World pageant and Miss Supranational in Poland.

The much-anticipated crowning will take place tonight at Siyekhaya Estates in Borrowdale, Harare.
