Harare, Zimbabwe – Multi-award-winning gospel artist Janet Manyowa continues to shine as one of Zimbabwe’s most celebrated musical icons, recently launching her sixth album, Worship Moments (Open Heavens), at the Celebration Center in Harare. The event, attended by an enthusiastic and diverse audience, highlighted Manyowa’s enduring influence on gospel music across Zimbabwe and beyond.

The new album features seven spirit-filled tracks, including fan favorites like YHWH, Anotida, and Somlandela, all of which were performed and recorded live at Art Farm in Harare. With three music videos already released and more set to premiere on her YouTube channel, the album promises to be a landmark in her illustrious career.

Since the release of her debut single, Amazing God, in 2014, Janet Manyowa has risen to become a beacon of inspiration in the gospel music scene. Her unwavering dedication to producing high-quality audio and visually captivating videos has set her apart as a trailblazer.

With six successful albums, Kings of Glory, Nenyasha, Grateful, Sounds of Victory, Father’s House, and now Worship Moments (Open Heavens), Manyowa has consistently delivered uplifting messages of faith and hope.

Among several accolades, Janet has been named one of the most influential people below 40 in Zimbabwe, won NAMA20 Outstanding Female Musician in 2022, Best of Africa 2021 Gospel Song 14th SABC Crown Gospel Awards, Zimbabwe Music Awards (ZIMA) Best Music Video – VAUDZE & Best Contemporary Gospel (2023).

Beyond her music, Janet is also the visionary behind A Night of Thanksgiving (ANOT), a widely acclaimed worship event that has featured both local and international gospel heavyweights like Bishop Benjamin Dube, Khaya Mthethwa, and Pastor G.
