Harare — Anticipation is reaching fever pitch as Zimbabwe Fashion Week (ZFW) 2025 prepares to kick off in spectacular style with its official Opening Night Launch Party tonight (Wednesday October 8th). The exclusive event, set to take place in Harare, promises to ignite the city’s fashion and nightlife scene with top DJs Jason Le Roux and Mimi headlining the night.

This year’s Opening Party is a proud collaboration between Zimbabwe Fashion Week and Hidden Culture, one of Africa’s most acclaimed creative production agencies. Known for its cutting-edge approach to experiences, Hidden Culture brings together event production, artist management, logistics, conceptual design, and creative direction, offering a full 360° production experience. The agency has partnered with major brands across Zimbabwe and hosted some of the biggest international music artists on local stages.

The ZFW Launch Party will gather an exclusive mix of designers, models, corporate figures, diplomats, and industry creatives for an evening celebrating style, innovation, and artistry.

Priscilla Chigariro, Founder of Zimbabwe Fashion Week, expressed her excitement ahead of the event, which officially sets the tone for this year’s edition. “I think it’s going to be an amazing party!” she said. “I honestly couldn’t have done it without our dedicated team and the support from so many working with us this year. It means so much to me.”

ZFW 2025, themed “The New African Vanguard,” will run from 8–11 October at the Hyatt Regency Harare, The Meikles, featuring visionary designers, immersive showcases, and bold conversations shaping the future of fashion in Zimbabwe and beyond.
