Social media and modeling circles are abuzz with speculation and excitement as Zimbabwe prepares to crown its next queen. With ten official contestants now revealed, the countdown to the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 finale is officially underway.
Pageant director Tendai Hunda confirmed to My Afrika Magazine that all preparations are in place for the crowning of the next titleholder.
“The countdown to the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 finale has officially begun,” said Hunda, following the announcement of the Top 10 finalists.
The ten contestants vying to succeed reigning queen Sakhile Dube are:
Onesimo Nkomo, Samkhele Dhlami, Charmaine Emmanuel, Chiedza Mhosva, Brenda Kadewe, Rumbidzai Muzopa, Annie-Grace Mutambai, Charlotte Muziri, Talic Magaiza, and Lyshand Moyas.
These finalists will enter an exclusive and intensive bootcamp starting May 10th at a private location sponsored by one of the pageant’s longstanding corporate partners.
“This year’s bootcamp will transform and challenge our contestants through rigorous training, mentorship, and development,” Hunda said. “It’s designed to prepare them not just for the crown, but for the global stage in Thailand this November.”
The journey to crown the next queen will unfold in two phases. On May 16th, a high-energy pre-show will narrow the finalists down to the Top 5. The following night, May 17th, the new Miss Universe Zimbabwe will be officially crowned in a glittering ceremony at the iconic Harare Hippodrome.
The finale promises dazzling performances, striking fashion, and a celebration of Zimbabwean beauty, culture, and excellence.
“Tickets are already on sale, and we encourage the public to secure theirs early for what promises to be an electrifying event,” added Hunda. “Join us as we crown the queen who will represent Zimbabwe on the global stage and inspire a nation.”
