Survivor South Africa host to present Miss and Mister Supranational

Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, President of Miss and Mister Supranational, has announced that Survivor South Africa host Nico Panagio will be hosting the Miss and Mister Supranational Final Shows in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, this year.

“We are extremely excited to have Nico as our host this year and we look forward to welcoming him to the Supra Family in July. Having seen Nico’s hosting skills in person, I am confident that he will bring an energetic and professional vibe to our final shows,” Parzutka von Lipinski said.

South African presenter Panagio expressed his enthusiasm about the new role and his upcoming visit to Poland. “I am so excited to visit Poland and be part of the fantastic productions that will be shown live on POLSAT and to many countries around the world on July 4th and 6th. You can expect two great shows and I am thrilled to join the Supra team,” Panagio added.

The Mister Supranational 2024 Final will be broadcast live from Nowy Sacz on July 4th, and the Miss Supranational Final will take place on July 6th.

Who is Nico Panagio? Nico Panagio is a South African actor and presenter of Greek descent. He has been in the entertainment industry for over 25 years, starting as a theatre actor and later moving on to TV series and feature films. In addition to his acting career, he has taken on public speaking and event hosting, leading to roles on various platforms, including the local hit magazine show Top Billing, which he hosted and directed for 10 years, and the South African version of Survivor, which he still hosts.

When he is not on screen, Nico engages in screenwriting and producing his own projects. Apart from his artistic pursuits, he has a passion for child safety and is the chairman of Missing Children SA, as well as the ‘My Father’s House’ community feeding project on the Southern Peninsula. He has been with his wife Christi for 24 years, and they have two daughters aged 11 and 14. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family or training for triathlons by trail running in the mountains, riding in the forests, and swimming in the lakes and oceans around his home in Cape Town, South Africa.
