Rising modelling sensation Dillish Makatendeka Masango popularly known as Princess Dillish, is a six-year-old model from Masvingo, Zimbabwe, who has gained significant recognition in the world of child modelling and beauty pageants.

She is currently a grade one pupil and despite her young age, she has demonstrated remarkable talent and creativity that have set her apart from her peers. While other children of her age will be playing with toys or watching cartoons, Dillish found joy in expressing herself through dance and performance.

Dillish first made headlines when she won the title of Miss Victoria Primary School, which was followed by her victory in the Little Miss Toto Africa Zimbabwe pageant in 2023. This achievement qualified her to represent Zimbabwe this year at the international level, where she competed in Nigeria and secured three titles: Second Runner up Toto Miss Africa, Miss Smile, and Miss Popularity. Her success at such a young age has made her a notable figure in child modelling.

Recently, Dillish donated pads to pupils at Masvingo rural based Sikato Primary school through her Princess Dillish Foundation. She gifted 200 grade 6 and 7 girls with sanitary pads including a few others from her former school, Victoria Junior Primary. This donation marked the beginning of Dillish’s philanthropic work, with plans to reach more schools next term.

According to her mother, Rumbidzai Chisangowerotah she said Dillish always had a heart of giving, which led to the formation of the foundation last year.

In June this year, Dillish was crowned First Runner Up at the prestigious Face of Kids Teen and Hub contest at Longcheng Plaza in Harare. She won a US$200 shopping voucher.

The young talented model is very active on social media as a dancer and lip-singer which further increases her fame as she also engages with celebrities such as Tinashe Mutarisi, musician Freeman and digital creator Madam Boss amongst others.

When it comes to Dillish’s support and sponsorship, her family has been seeking financial support from well-wishers to help fund Dillish’s participation in international competitions.
