Sikandar Out, Ballance In

As the Chevrons are preparing for the T20 international  friendly  match with the Irish team, a number of names are missing in the lineup.

Amongst them Sikandar Raza was granted permission for T20 leagues, and he will miss the tournament along with Blessing Muzarabani who is recovering from injury.

While the poor performance which was made by Regis Chakabva and Milton Shumba during the T20 World Cup has cost them to miss in the last tournament.

Sikandar is currently running for the ICC Men’s Cricket of the year, ICC Men’s ODI cricketer of the year and ICC Men’s T 20 Cricketer of the year award.

Nonetheless, Ballance is set to make his debut, after he was named in the squad .

Garry has played at least 23 tests and 16 one day internationals for England between 2014 and 2017 .

He recently signed a two year contract to play domestic and international  cricket for Zimbabwe. Hence aside from him, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Innocent Kaila and Victor Nyauchi will join the team.

The team will be graced by the Irish at Harare Sports club between 18 and 23 January.
