Sibongile Mlambo stars in Florida Man, a Netflix series
The Zimbabwean-Hollywood based actress, Sibongile features in 6 episodes of the new Netflix 7 part limited series, Florida Man, as Clara. The series is about a disgraced cop in debt forced to return to his home state of Florida for a shady mission only to get swept up in a wild and deadly treasure hunt.
Sibo’s film/tv credits started from as early as the 90s when she featured in Kini and Adams, a film about two friends leaving in a Zimbabwe village who dream of repairing an old broken car, and moving to the city and starting life over. She stars alongside South African legends Vusi Kunene as Kini, David Mohloki as Adams, and Nthati Moshesh as Aida among others.
Mlambo was born in Zimbabwe, and both her siblings, Nomsa and Bongani are also involved in the film-tv sector in America.
Sibo has been the face of Nivea campaigns across Africa and is represented by Ice Genetics in Cape Town. In 2007, Mlambo was the second princess in Miss Zim-USA 2007.
