Born on March 9, 1981, in Marondera, Zimbabwe, Nyasha Timbe’s love for music started at a young age. By 13, he could already play multiple instruments, including the keyboard and guitar. Recognizing his passion, his supportive parents gifted him personal instruments to hone his skills.
Timbe’s career officially began around 2010, when he decided to pursue his love for singing. Working with local producer Matirez, Nyasha transitioned from being an advisor to creating his own beats, marking his entry into music production. His first public success came in 2012 when his song “Wakazara Rudo,” featuring Shinsoman and produced by Sani Makalima, gained traction on radio.
Since then, Timbe has remained committed to improving his craft, driven by his personal motto, “I’m not chasing clout or popularity; I’m up to make better music than I made yesterday.”
Now a father of two and a devout Christian, Nyasha leads a life devoid of alcohol and smoking. His musical journey continues to shine, with recent collaborations including work on Voltz JT’s trending album and production credits for the popular track “Rita” by Baba Harare and Mai TT.
Timbe’s talents extend to live performances, where he doubles as a backing vocalist and DJ for Baba Harare, earning widespread acclaim for his stage presence.
In addition to his music, Nyasha is an avid football fan and the founder of Real Fusion FC, a social football club composed of artists, DJs, and corporate individuals. His club even won a Golden Glove award at the Havanah tournament.
Having toured in countries like the UK, Australia, and South Africa, Nyasha’s most memorable performance took place in Australia in 2023 with Baba Harare. Looking ahead, Timbe aims to collaborate with African music giants such as Diamond Platnumz and Ghana’s Stonebwoy, while also holding out hope for a future partnership with Zimbabwean icon Winky D.
Timbe’s journey, marked by dedication and resilience, showcases his unwavering commitment to his craft, a testament to never giving up on his dreams.
