Namibia has crowned its newest Mister Supranational, and his name is Mmoloki Samoca. The 28-year-old chemical engineering intern was named Mister Supranational Namibia 2025 last Saturday and is set to represent the country at the international Mister Supranational competition in Poland this July.
But Mmoloki is more than just a handsome face—he is a passionate advocate for adult literacy and is committed to using his platform to raise awareness about the importance of education.
“I’m taking part in this contest to draw attention to a social cause that is dear to my heart,” he shared.
“When the entries opened, I saw an opportunity to chase my dreams, showcase my skills on a pageantry platform, and use my participation to highlight important causes,” he wrote on his Facebook account.
Mmoloki’s dedication to adult literacy stems from personal experiences. Growing up, he observed firsthand how a lack of education hindered people’s daily lives, limiting opportunities and creating social stigma.
“My advocacy for adult literacy is part of an effort to address these challenges,” he explained.
“I want to create awareness about the struggles faced by those who cannot read, write, or count—and emphasize that solutions exist to combat adult literacy shortcomings.”
The crowning ceremony was attended by the reigning Mister Supranational 2024, Dr. Fezile Mkhize, who also served as the official host of the event.
As Mister Supranational Namibia 2025, Mmoloki will have the opportunity to showcase his country’s culture and values on an international stage. He will compete against other talented contestants from around the world for the prestigious Mister Supranational title.
However, for Mmoloki, the journey is about more than just winning a title—it’s about making a lasting impact.
“I’m excited to represent Namibia and use this platform to advocate for adult literacy,” he said.
“I believe education is the key to unlocking people’s potential, and I’m passionate about contributing to a more literate and empowered society.”
