His Majesty King Nswati III is traveling to Zimbabwe as an official guest set to open the 63rd edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) this Friday in Bulawayo.

King Mswati’s two-day visit will officially commence on Thursday where he is expected to have a diplomatic dialogue with his counterpart, President Mnangagwa.

He will first on Wednesday attend the Transform Africa Summit, along with President Paul Kagame, Lazarus Chakwera, Hichilema and Mnangagwa in Victoria Falls.

This was confirmed by the country’s Foreign Affairs and International Trade Permanent Secretary Ambassador James Manzou.

“King Mswati III will be in the country on April 25 and will begin his stay in Victoria Falls, where he will attend the Transform Africa Summit, the official state visit is scheduled to begin on April 27, where King Mswati III will meet President Mnangagwa at the state House,” he said.

King Mswati III is one of the world’s last Monarchs with the control over government and judiciary of Eswatini.

He has been criticized by Human Rights activists for human rights abuse.

Eswatini and Zimbabwe will be having their general elections later this year.
