Rwandan President Paul Kagame announced one of the game changing policies by Rwandan government, that will see all Africans travel visa-free to its nation. Kagame revealed the developments at the 23rd Global Summit of the World Travel and Tourism Council being held in Kigali.

When implemented, Rwanda will become the fourth African country to adopt travel visa-free motion. The other countries Gambia, Benin and Seychelles.

“Any African, can get on a plane to Rwanda whenever they wish and they will not pay a thing to enter our country” said Kagame

“Globally, the travel and tourism industry has recovered strongly. But the high cost of travel to and within Africa remains a barrier. The implementation of a single African air transport market is therefore an important priority.” Kagame added

Kenya’s President William Ruto is also considering plans to have Africans travel to their country visa-free by December 31.
