Hwange Football Club have made a quick return to the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League following their relegation in 2019.

Fondly known as Chipangano, the club got crowned champions of the ZIFA Southern Region Division One league after beating Indlovu Iyanyathela by a narrow 1-0 win on Sunday at the Colliery Stadium in Hwange.

Hwange is joined by Sheasham, Simba Bhora and Green Fuel from Central Region, Northern Region, Eastern Region respectively.

In regional news, Confederation of African Football has made a big move as they removed Guinea as hosts of 2025 African Cup of Nations.

Guinea lost the ticket of being the host of the 2025 African Cup of Nations due to infrastructure standards.

 This was announced by the CAF President Patrice Motsepe hence soccer fans wonder who will be the host.
