Harare’s Old Hararians Hosts Jah Prayzah and Winky D for Sunshine Festival Debut

Zimbabwe’s two leading musicians, Jah Prayzah and Winky D, both renowned crowd-pullers in their own right, are set to headline the inaugural Sunshine Festival, organized by Tamba Events, on March 29 and March 30.

This two-day extravaganza, celebrating music, sports, and community spirit, will take place at Old Hararians in Harare. The festival will feature not only music but also food stalls and soccer matches, promising entertainment for all attendees.

On March 29, Jah Prayzah will take the stage as the headline act, with support from Mookomba, Selmor Mtukudzi, Exq, Jah Signal, and Chillspot Family. The excitement continues on March 30, with Winky D headlining the event, followed by performances from Master H, Killer T, Bazooker, Bling 4, Garry B, and Etherton B.

The Sunshine City Festival provides a platform for both established and emerging Zimbabwean musicians to showcase their talents, offering attendees a glimpse into the evolving landscape of Zimbabwean music. It’s worth noting that the festival is free for children under 10 years old. The anticipation is high, especially considering that the last time Winky D and Jah Prayzah shared a stage in Harare was in 2022, adding to the excitement among music fans.
