It is my honor to announce that I have made history as the first black woman to receive a PhD in Physics from Georgia State University. During this journey I attained: BS MATH, MS MATH, MS PHYSICS, MS Computer Science, PhD Astrophysics,” she wrote.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Master’s degrees in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, and now a PhD in Astrophysics.
