MoroccoThe Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially unveiled a brand-new trophy for the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024, marking a bold new chapter in the rise and recognition of women’s football on the continent.

Revealed at a prestigious ceremony in Casablanca, the trophy embodies CAF’s commitment to gender equality, sporting excellence, and the empowerment of women athletes across Africa. Designed with elegance and symbolism, the trophy features upward-spiraling petals representing each participating nation, forming a blooming flower, a tribute to growth, unity, and beauty.

At its heart, a golden football sphere adorned with a map of Africa reflects the continent’s ambitions and pride in elevating the women’s game. Crafted in silver and matte gold, and set atop a marble base with gold accents, the trophy is a mirror of the men’s version, underscoring a message of equality and shared glory.
