
African countries continue dominating the Supra Chat. This comes after a week when Africa was celebrating the achievement which was made by Mister Supranational Namibia who had successful reached the finals of Mister Supra Chat.
He was recently joined by Miss Supranational Zambia, Mister Supranational Nigeria and Miss Supranational South Africa who also scoped higher scores during their Supra Chat campaigns.
Miss Supranational Zambia, Namakau Nawa, is the youngest Miss Supranational candidate of this season, contesting at the age of 19. She advocates for financial literacy,
“I advocate for financial literacy because of my story.I tend to be very emotional when I talk about this but I will try not to do so today. I come from a broken home , only a few people know about this . I used to watch my mom getting beaten at night and I had a lot of bad things being said to her as a child.
“I think many women do go through that and most of the women unlike my mother they are not under employment and don’t really have intelligence on how to manage their finances, how they can save that,” said Namakau Nawa.
She further said, “hence i drew the inspiration to be a financial advocate from my story and educate women on how they’re supposed to manage their financial, how they budget and it’s only that I have also worked with a foundation called ‘Merciful Home’, it’s an orphanage they have a school.
“I do hold classes with young children and adults, not to educate them about financial literacy,” informed Miss Supranational Zambia.
In a similar interview which Ivan Padrez was the conductor .However for another franchised of the pageant, Mister Supranational Chat. Nigerian model who was grouped with the following countries: Colombia, France, Equatorial Guinea, Poland and Puetorico was interviews and was regarded as the semi finalist of the segment.
Nigerian candidate Mazi Michael appeared in the online interview in his office wearing his medical kit.
During the interview he described his mother as his best friend, he further said his bond with his mother as strong hence he named him as his role model during the introduction.
He identified himself as the first husband to his mother as per his custom this become official if his father passes away.
Nazi Michael in addition,at a tender age Mister Supranational Nigeria informed the panel that he witnessed how his mother struggled and she faced many challenges including breaking the family tradition by allowing him to further his studies at the university.
Another candidate who impressed the Supra fans and judges during the Supra Chat was South African delegate, Dr Luca, who explained to Mister Supra Chat fans that at the tender age of 27 he was able to complete his PHD in Physics. However he informed that he still wants to do more regarding to his career path, something that his passionate in which is communications.
Dr Luca believes that when combined both his passion and his current profession as a doctor he will be able to build a company that is going to be beneficiary to many young people and will also assist in empowering them through employment.
When asked what he means that he wants to retire at the age of 40, Dr Luca responded by saying he believes by the age of 40 he needs to be financial stable to start his dream company that will be a platform which is beneficiary to young people.
With Nambia, South Africa, Nigerian and Zambia showing Africa’s dominance in both pageants the world believes its doable for both two title to be won by African delegates.
