Zimbabwean cricket player, Raza Sikandar has been nominated for the second time under the same category the player of the year and for the month of October.

From winning the best player award in the month of August under the ICC T20, Raza made history when he became the first Zimbabwean to win the award, best player of the month.

The 36-year-old was shortlisted along with, Virat Kohli (India) and David Miller (South Africa).

Currently at the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup, V Kohli is the one with the most runs with at least 220, while Raza is at position five with 185 runs.

Raza has played a massive role for Zimbabwe’s national team especially during the ICC World Cup T20. 

During the World Cup this year he won at least three gongs as the player of the match. These include his contribution in the wins against Ireland (82 not out) and the most trending one being the match between Zimbabwe and Pakistan (3 for 25). 

Since his dominance in the sports sector, his friends have been advocating for him to be given a farm by the government of Zimbabwe to appreciate his deeds.

 In other news, Marondera  born, Ryan Burl is now signed  for the Bangladesh team Sylhet Strikers ahead of the coming Bangladesh Cricket League.
