Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, attracted global attention last week after acclaimed Nigerian actor Ramsey Nouah visited the Zambian side of the iconic landmark.
The Nollywood star described the experience as “unforgettable,” urging travellers around the world to witness what he called the unmatched beauty of nature.
During his two-day visit to Victoria Falls, locally known as Mosi-oa-Tunya (“The Smoke That Thunders”), Nouah shared his admiration for the destination, its scenery and local hospitality.
“I’ve experienced the most beautiful things—nature,” he said. “I’ve also had some really good meals. It’s an unforgettable experience.”
He encouraged travellers to add Zambia to their bucket list, saying, “The world needs to see it. You don’t just talk about it—you feel it.”
His remarks quickly gained traction across social media, with fans from Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe and beyond celebrating the endorsement.
Straddling the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, Victoria Falls remains one of Southern Africa’s premier tourism attractions, drawing visitors from across the globe for its spectacular scenery, adventure activities and cultural experiences.
Nouah’s visit has also fuelled speculation that the falls could feature in a future film production. While no official announcement has been made, the possibility has generated excitement within tourism and film circles, highlighting the growing appeal of African destinations as cinematic backdrops.
Whether through tourism or filmmaking, Nouah’s visit has once again showcased Victoria Falls as a world-class destination, reinforcing its status as one of Africa’s greatest natural treasures.
